Día de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) originated in the ancient Aztec culture of Mexico, and over the years its celebration has spread throughout the Americas and evolved to include certain aspects of Christian beliefs. Today it is celebrated October 31 and November 1-2, and its festivities can even be found in sleepy little Wichita, Kansas!

On Día de los Muertos, we remember the souls of our beloved dead and make offerings to help them in their journey.
